Boiled Shelled Peanuts (Boiled Groundnut)
Boiled Groundnut and roasted corn combined are a heavenly match that evoke memories of comfort food during raining season in Cameroon which was corn harvest season. Its our go to snack in Doha because they take longer to open, preventing mindless eating and helps better manage portion sizes and calorie intake.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Shelled peanuts
- Water
Instructions
- Wash off any residual soil
- Rince and transfer to saucepan
- Add water to submerge and bring to boil
- Let simmer for 20 – 30 minutes depending on how dry the peanut is at time of buying
